Choosing the Best Cosmetics by Makeup Girl
We all know her. She’s that one woman that has perfect skin and doesn’t need a drop of makeup. If you’re that rare woman, consider yourself lucky. For the rest of us, this article is for you. Like it or not, cosmetics can help all of us look and feel better. Cosmetics help us preserve our beauty while also enhancing it.
Some women will choose what cosmetics to use based on a brand they love. Other woman will shop for the deals on cosmetics. No matter how you choose the brand of product you use, all of us want good quality products. There are so many things to choose from, it would be easy to get overwhelmed.
Even if you don’t enjoy shopping for cosmetics, it is still important to purchase at least a few must haves. I think the most important cosmetics to have in your collection starts with skin care. A good cleanser and moisturizer can mean the difference between skin that looks your age or even younger, or skin that ages much quicker than you actually do.
The second cosmetic must have is eye makeup to high light the eyes. It doesn’t have to be anything too drastic, but your eyes really are one of the features that can say so much. Accent the best parts. Eye color is beautiful no matter what color they are so why not put a little shadow, liner and mascara on to really make the color pop.
The third cosmetic must have is lip care. Now, I am not a big color lipstick wearer. I like the less bold colors, but even a simple shimmer or gloss can really make your lips stand out. If you feel like you have thin lips, be sure to use a liner that will blend in with the color you use. This will help your lips appear fuller.
The final cosmetics items that I believe are must-haves are perfumes or body lotions in scents that you like. You don’t want anything too overpowering, but a pleasant scent can really enhance your femininity. I love to put on a clean smelling scent on summer days and a richer, deeper scent during snowy winter days.
There are so many cosmetics offered. If you like to go all out, more power to you. But don’t let yourself get overwhelmed by all the products. Make cosmetics your friend. Start with the basics and build from there.
